HAWO conducts active rescues in urban and rural areas. Rescued animals are provided with immediate medical attention, safe shelter, and ongoing rehabilitation.
Through partnerships with veterinary professionals, we offer treatment for injuries and illnesses, as well as mass sterilization drives to manage the stray animal population.
We organize educational programs in schools, communities, and religious institutions to promote empathy and awareness about animal welfare and laws.
HAWO engages in environmental protection activities, educating fishing communities about endangered marine species and advocating against poaching.
HAWO has expanded its services to include comprehensive livestock care, providing veterinary services, vaccinations, and health monitoring for sheep, goats, cattle, and other farm animals across Jubaland.
